According to the artiste who is a songwriter and wife, ‘Akakakra’ is advocacy to draw men to Jesus Christ and accept him as their Lord and personal saviour.

In an interview, she explained that the title of the song was inspired by, “the excuses we always sought to give for our salvation, postponing our salvation to tomorrow as if tomorrow is ours. Salvation is now.

“I did my first demo album about 20years ago, and had to hold on due to other equal responsibilities, but I believe in his time he makes all things beautiful and the time is ripe for me to come out now.”

Araba, motivated by the love she has for music and worship to be precise, believes Ghanaian gospel music has come of age with genres like urban/ contemporary music unlike when it was started.

“For me, I believe in the present day, there’s a dramatic move and a revival of the Holy Spirit.”
