At the launch of Kwame A Plus' campaign for the position of MP for Gomoa Central in the Central Region, entertainment stakeholder Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo delivered a passionate speech endorsing the musician-turned-politician.
In his speech, Arnold, representing the entertainment industry, including music, movies, and theatre, highlighted A Plus's hard work and dedication during his music career as proof of his potential to fulfil his promises if elected.
"We are here to show our love and support for A Plus because he is one of us," he stated.
He urged voters to consider A Plus' contributions to the community, as evidence that he would be able to do more if voted into office.
Arnold urged residents of Gomoa Central to vote wisely on December 7, 2024, saying, "When you go to the polls, do not make a mistake, vote for A Plus."
He assured the electorate that A Plus would leverage his entertainment connections to bring development to the town by bringing in some popular figures.
“Any development you need, he is there for you. He will use his entertainment connections to improve this town, one week you will see Shatta Wale, the next will be Stonebwoy, the next will be Jackie Appiah,” he said.
In a direct appeal to voters, Arnold urged them to ignore the traditional parties, NPP and NDC, and instead support Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus.
