Art Exhibition At Alliance Française

AN EXHIBITION of recent paintings by Naab Morg that deal with a variety of issues will be held on Wednesday, April 21, at the Alliance Française in Accra.

Employing the use of human figures with metaphysical touches, Mr. Morg transmits his messages in a thought-provoking and dramatic manner thereby grabbing and sustaining the interest of viewers.

Works from the artist tend to mirror his fears, aspirations, thoughts, feelings, dreams and apprehensions while clearly commenting on activities and events that constantly take place around him.

His stylized and exaggerated images abound in colour as light permeates through his backgrounds with controlled intensity. Indeed, they illuminate the very messages he tries to send across.

His paintings are also laced with symbolic expressions. Mr. Morg actually challenges and stretches himself to the highest limit as he always reconnects with the past.

The exhibition, which is being sponsored by the Alliance Française in collaboration with the French Embassy in Accra, ends on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
