Ghana Premier League side Ashantigold SC are set to announce the appointment of French coach Bruno Ferry as the new technical director for their Academy.
The UEFA Pro License coach has been without a club since ending his stay with Division One League side Accra Lions last December.
According to Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, talks between the management of the Miners and the former Paris FC goalkeeper to head their youth team are far advanced.
Management’s decision to bring him on board is as a result of his vast experience in the Ghana football terrain due his four-year stints with Accra Lions.
The new management are looking to resurrect the academy system which produced a lot of players for the club in the 90s.
Bruno Ferry previously worked as manager for French clubs EF Bastia, Louhans-Cuiseaux FC and AS Dakar Sacré Coeur of Senegal.
