Daniel Agypong, one of the brains behind Paykenkran Studios, producers of the yet-to-be-released movie, “Guantanamofo Wo Krom” has broken his silence over the movie.

Mr. Agyapong in an interview with Zionfelix.com on Wednesday evening confirmed that his production house is preparing to shoot a movie based on the two Guantanamo bay prisoners who have been transferred to Ghana.

According to him, the movie has not been shot but Paykenkran Studio released poster of the movie to deter other producers from shooting the movie. When asked if Akrobeto, Kyeiwaa, Christiana Awuni and other casts who are on the movie poster have been contacted, he answered negative.

Danny, as he is popularly called revealed that the production house will contact the actors on Thursday to officially hire their services on the new project.

He was optimistic that the actors will accept the role since the movie is not politically motivated.

“The movie is not based on politics for any actor to say he or she will not work on it. It would have been a problem if the story line is based on politics but it is far from that. We are in an election year so we are careful about the things we produce so that it doesn’t affect the artiste.

Reacting to insults from Ghanaians after the movie poster went viral, Daniel Agyapong disclosed that he is not perturbed since it is part of the job.

He disclosed that the movie which has not started its production will be out in three weeks.

“We can use five days to shoot the movie after we have talked to all the casts. We have to get at least two of the actors on the poster for this movie. The marketers will actually decide when they will release the movie because it has to be submitted to the censorship board.”

Ghanaians woke up on Wednesday morning to see a new movie poster titled “Guantanamofo Wo Krom”. “Guantanamofo Wo Krom” is a movie produced by Daniel Agyapong and Kwadwo Owusu Ansah, owners of Paykenkran Studios.
