BE BOLD 2011 Comes Off In Accra On January 7 and 8

The Second Annual BE BOLD (Bringing Education and Building Opportunity for Leadership and Development) initiative comes off in Accra on the 7th and 8th of January, 2011.

Themed “BE BOLD– Step into the Limelight!, this inspirational event will be held at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel. The two day event will showcase various successful companies and talents in Ghana.

The grand event will also witness the launch of the Be Bold Talk Show with Christal Jeanne on e.tv Ghana. Other activities marking the opening day of the project will be a dinner and a talent showcase to share the success stories of the several Ghanaians who studied abroad and came back to Ghana to achieve more. The spotlight will also be on local Ghanaian artists, performers, designers, company owners, heads of successful Non Governmental Organizations and other successful, inspirational people in the country.

January 8th, the second day is a networking forum where future leaders, business leaders and CEOs of Ghanaian owned businesses and Government meet to discuss factors influencing brain drain in Ghana and how to find solutions to them. There will be roundtable discussions of 4 issues: the realities of working in Ghana, the difference between working abroad and in Ghana, employer perception of students who graduated abroad, and the way forward- studying other success stories in other countries and setting goals for Ghana.
