Football?bad boy Mario Balotelli has reportedly been dumped by his girlfriend of seven months, Fanny Neguesha.
The relationship ended just days after Mario was reported to have made lewd remarks about the Belgian model, apparently saying that Real Madrid's team could sleep with her if they won their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, although he denied saying this.
A source told The Sun: 'This was a major bust-up and could spell the end for Mario and Fanny.'
In Spanish newspapers AS and Marca, Mario had been quoted as saying: 'If Real Madrid come back in Champions League, I'll let my girlfriend sleep with them!'
In March this year, Mario said that Fanny was 'the first woman I feel comfortable with,' adding: 'In a short time, she found herself in sync with me. I could spend my whole life with someone like this.'
But that looks unlikely, after reports claimed that Fanny had understandably reacted angrily to Mario's distasteful boasts.
The player's time at Manchester City was overshadowed by controversy and run-ins with boss Roberto Mancini, but his £19million switch back to Italy has been considered successful.
His relationship with Fanny followed an acrimonious split from his ex-girlfriend, Raffaella Fico, 25.
Raffaella claims that Mario had not been in touch with her or their baby, Pia, since she was born last year.
Although it is unclear if 22-year-old Fanny will be willing to take him back, reports have claimed that Mario has been attempting to cheer himself up by buying a new Ferrari.
Last Thursday, Fanny tweeted a cryptic message in Italian which translates to: 'Love does not exist to make us happy but to show us how strong our ability to endure pain.'
