Banky W is a popular Nigerian musician cum preacher
Nigerian singer Olubankole Wellington, better known as Banky W, has undergone his fourth cancer surgery.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, May 23, 2024, he expressed profound gratitude to God for his recovery.
Banky W extended his thanks to his wife, family, friends, and pastors for their unwavering support and prayers throughout his journey.
He also acknowledged the expertise and care of his medical team, specifically mentioning Dr. Onyewu and Dr. Adenuga.
Accompanying his message was a video captioned, "Christ 4 – Cancer Tumors 0", symbolizing his triumph over the illness.
Reflecting on his experience, Banky W remarked, “Sometimes, your faith in God will not prevent the storms from coming… but it will carry you through them. Faith won’t always stop you from hurting, but it will help you heal, and it will help you deal."
He emphasized the assurance found in his faith, citing biblical promises of God's protection and victory over adversity.
Gratefully acknowledging the love, prayers, and support from his inner circle, Banky W expressed confidence in his health and entrusted his latest victory to God's grace.
He concluded by appreciating the skillful efforts of his medical team and affirmed his belief in God's plan, citing Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
It can be recalled that sometime in November 2017, Banky W underwent his third cancer surgery.
