Popular boxer Brimah Kamoko also known as Bukom Banku has said his ‘coconut seller' tag used in describing his opponent Bastie Samir prior to their mega bout on October 21, 2017, was just a mind game he wanted to play on him.

He described the coconut seller comment as ‘boxing talking’ which was meant to bring his opponent down psychologically before going into the ring with him.

“It is a boxing talking. I will insult you and your mind will make slow”, he said.

The self-acclaimed African Mayweather prior to their mega bout said his opponent Bastie Samir as an ordinary coconut seller and not a boxer who he has vowed to stop in round six.

Bukom banku is quoted to have said “I want people to come and see why I am the Africa Mayweather; I am the boxing Rolando and the only boxing graduate in Ghana. Bastie Samir is a naked boxer and this will be a coconut seller fight”.

But in an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah on GHONE the defeated boxer admitted that Bastie Samir is not a coconut seller but a boxer.

“Oh he is not a coconut seller but a boxer”, he stressed.
