Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, said that NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia lost because he didn’t follow instructions to wear a white outfit until the elections were over.
In a recent live session on her social media pages, Agradaa said, “I always tell you all that when a prophecy comes, take it seriously." I gave him instructions on the prophecy, you all are aware, and that’s why everyone has to take me seriously,” she said.
She further stated that “Nobody can tell me that the prophecy I gave didn’t work. He is the one who didn’t follow the instructions. Bawumia is a great leader, and he has shown us great respect for this country.”
“He just came out to accept defeat and congratulated the NDC flagbearer. Because of what he did, he has gained my respect forever. This has never happened in Ghana before, where not less than 24 hours after the election, the opponent will come out and accept defeat. This shows he loves Ghana, and he has vision for Ghana but he has no choice. Next time when a prophecy comes, they should listen and take it seriously,” the evangelist added.
Her comments come as the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has emerged victorious in Ghana's December 7 general elections, securing a majority of the votes from both the presidential and parliamentary aspects.
Although the Electoral Commission is yet to officially announce the results, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has conceded defeat and congratulated his opponent NDC's John Mahama.
