Afro pop singer, Rebecca Acheampong, also known in the music scene as Becca, has denied reports that she is dating highlife musician, Bisa Kdei.
It has been widely speculated in the past weeks by a section of the media that the two are in love and secretly engaged but Becca told Anita Erskine on the Starr Drive, last Wednesday they are very good friends.
“Bisa and I share a lot in common and we’ve been good friends now since he got into the industry and, I mean, well you never know, but for now we are friends,” she insisted.
According to her, the two of them are working on a love song and also preparing to shoot the video soon.
“We have an amazing song coming out. It is a beautiful love song and we are planning on shooting the video…” she revealed.
In a related development, another Ghanaian afro pop artiste Efya, has also denied rumours making waves that she is dating Mugeez of R2bees fame.
Speaking on Kasapa Fm’s Aben Wo Ho programme hosted by Afia Schwarzenegger, Efya who won the Best Female Vocal Performance category at the Ghana Music Awards in four successions, beginning in 2011 said “I have never dated Mugeez of R2bees, no it is not true.”
She is set to perform alongside Sarkodie, Ice Prince and Banky W at the “Sarkodie History in the Making Concert” in Atlanta, USA today August 8, 2015.
Efya got her first exposure to fame when she participated in the maiden edition of the Stars of the Future talent show.
