Becca, one of Ghana's biggest exports to the world with regards to arts and entertainment on August 18, 2017 released her third studio album titled 'Unveiling'.

The release of the album comes four years after she released her second album 'Time 4 Me' in 2013 under EKB record label. 'Time 4 Me' album which had hit tracks like 'No away', 'Forever', 'Push' amongst others enjoyed massive success on the Ghanaian music market.

Before Becca's second album, her debut album 'Sugar' in 2007 shot her into the limelight winning her several awards and nominations both locally and internationally. The album had major hits like 'You lied to me' featuring Kwabena Kwabena and 'I love you' which had legendary Hugh Masekela from South Africa.

In 2017, soulful singer Becca has a new album out under a new record label Zylofon which is by far the largest record label in the history of Ghana's music industry.

Becca's 'Unveiling' album has 13 songs in all, which includes three bonus tracks. Unlike her previous album where she loaded 20 songs on an album, Becca has reduced it his time round explaining that when an album is loaded, most of the songs are skipped and don't make the impact they should.

The unveiling album is not every typical of Becca, it is a mixed bag with a bit of every genre. The album has a track called 'Steady' which features Nigeria 's Ice Prince, 'Steady' has a house and techno feel which will apeal to the international market and also qualifies as strategic collaboration.

Track 10 on 'Unveiling' is a gospel song and it has a remix with label mate Joyce Blessing as a bonus track. There is something also for reggae and Dancehall enthusiasts which is track 6 'With you' featuring another label mate Stonebwoy

Track 2 on the album 'Don't know' featuring Kofi Kinaata has a typical Ghanaian rhythm and instruments but then again not a typical Becca song. Track 3 'Na Wash' with Patoranking also follows suit, which brings me to the question is Becca under pressure to batch up with the current trend of songs?

Becca has a song with Mr. Eazi titled 'Number 1' and it's also track number 1 on Unveiling. Track 8 'Beshiwo' featuring Bisa Kdei which is already a street anthem syncs well with High Life lovers.

Track 4 'You and I', 5 'Crazy', 7 'Mi new waa' and 9 'Sumy3' are all identical with the kind of songs Becca is known for.

In a nutshell 'Unveiling' is a master piece considering arrangement songs, mastering, composition and time of release.

This is not to say Unveiling has no shortfalls. The album is a little crowded with features. Also, songwriters were not credited for their contribution on the cover.
