Benedicta Gafah, Edem Fairre feed thousands

Actress Benedicta Gafah and model Edem Fairre on Saturday, December 28, 2019 fed about five thousand people at Nima, Accra.

The gesture, supported by United Nation Youth Association – Ghana, was as part of the duo’s efforts to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.

“It’s a festive season, everyone is enjoying. We just wanted to share our love, joy with the less privileged,” said Benedicta Gafah. “My Gafah Foundation, Twellium Foundation decided to come and feed 5000 people. I’m excited that we are doing this. We are not doing this for just this year; it’s going to continue. We will do every year and hopefully it won’t be just in Accra.”

Ms Gafah further urged individuals and organizations to emulate the gesture.

“No matter how small it is, share with the needy,” she advised.

On her part, Edem Fairre said, “this is just the beginning of my zero-hunger project. While we do this, we hope to come up with plans to reduce hunger in Ghana.”
