Auditions to select Ghanaian housemates for this year’s Big Brother Africa reality television show, is ongoing at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Airport, Accra.
A god number of shortlisted applicants are taking part in the audition process, which started yesterday March 16, and expected to end on Monday, March 18.
Entries are only open to persons over the age of 21, who are citizens of Ghana and who either have a valid passport or will be able to obtain one by the end of March, the show’s producers say.
Candidates should be “fluent in English, entertaining, open-minded, adventurous, bold and passionate about the Big Brother experience. Importantly the selection team is looking for qualities of tolerance, determination and enthusiasm”.
Pay-per-view cable television provider MNet has said “The demand from audiences for Big Brother Africa continues undimmed. In some ways it really is astonishing to see the enthusiasm for this particular series, but in other ways it is to be expected.”
Streamed to a continental viewing audience, the BBA has grown to be the network’s flagship reality series.
This year’s edition starts airing May 26.
