Ghana’s representatives in the on-going Big Brother Amplified seem to be making all the news both negative and positive. Confidence Haugen who is in the “Heads” house is up for eviction for the second time and is still hoping to return into the house after Sunday’s live eviction show.

Alex Biney the “ladies’ man”, who is doing his thing in the “Tails” house has put himself in trouble, in the wee hours of this morning, when he broke the rules in the house by taking over a duty which is supposed to be punishment for South African housemate Luclay. Alex single handedly washed all the dishes and cleared the House of filth as though he was performing a task.

Early Wednesday morning when all the other housemates in “Tails” house were asleep, Alex spotted in a white T-shirt with his name behind it and black boxer shorts, went downstairs and removed all the glasses and bottles on the table outside around the Jacuzzi and cleaned all the seats before heading for the kitchen to clean up and work on the dishes.

Luclay is supposed to do all dish washing duties as well as all House cleaning duties while he remains in the House as his punishment after an incident with Tanzanian housemate Lotus, which led to her disqualification last Friday May 20, 2011. Lotus hit Luclay twice in the face after a heated argument.

According to Biggie even though Lotus’ action is not acceptable, Luclay was also provocative, and even though Lotus asked him to stop he continued provoking her, hence his punishment. "These duties will be yours and yours alone. Your treatment of your fellow contestants and your language will be under very close scrutiny at all times," Big Brother announced to Luclay, with everyone listening.

Meanwhile, Luclay woke up early in the morning and went straight for a cup of coffee before his Capoeira session.

Alex finally relaxed in the Jacuzzi and cooled off with a bottle of bear after a sweaty morning. Big Brother has not commented whether he is going punish Alex for breaking the rules, even though Alex obviously did it with good intentions, he could find himself in trouble for it.

Whiles we wait for Big Brother’s reaction, do you think Biggie should punish Alex for this 'noble' gesture or should he be pardoned? Remember rules are rules.

Meanwhile Confidence is up for eviction this week with Barnardina from Namibia, Michael from Mozambique, Sharon O from Uganda and Vina from Nigeria.
