Actor Bernard Aduse-Poku has disclosed that he is one of the ‘early actors’ in the Kumawood movie industry.
When asked how long he has featured in the Kumawood circle, Bernard responded by saying he began acting before the likes of Bill Asamoah joined.
The young Ghanaian actor in an interview with Zionfelix referred to Bill Asamoah as his "small boy’’; acknowledging popular actor Daniel Adeleye as one of his seniors who established the Kumawood movie industry.
According to him, he belonged to the second batch of actors to have been recruited into the industry after the likes of Daniel Adeleye and Asare Bediako.
‘’Bill Asamoah is my small boy. Our senior is called Daniel Adeleye. That’s our senior. Daniel and Bill are older than me a bit but I have been in the movie industry before Bill.
"Daniel Adeleye started acting before Asare Bediako then I followed with Kwame Asomaning, Gloria Agyemang, Martha Joyce and a couple of others. The next batch after us were the likes of Bill Asamoah, then Nana Ama McBrown’s batch also followed. I have been in the movie industry for almost 20years’’. He said.
Bernard Aduse Poku was the immediate past Vice-Chairman of the Kumawood Actors guild and lives in United States with his wife and son.
