A video circulating online captures a storey building, reportedly belonging to Bishop Daniel Obinim, engulfed in flames.
The video, making rounds on social media, on April 9, 2026, indicated that the building, a hotel located at Ashale Botwe, caught fire in the early hours of the day.
The top floor of the multi-storey structure was seen consumed by the blaze.
According to the post, the Ghana National Fire Service was quickly dispatched to the scene, with fire tenders from Madina, Adenta, and the University of Ghana fire stations working tirelessly to contain the inferno.

“At around 5:00 am this morning, a raging fire broke out on the top floor of a multi-storey hotel property at Ashale Botwe, reportedly owned by Ghanaian man of God, Bishop Daniel Obinim. The Ghana National Fire Service is currently at the scene, with fire tenders from the Madina, Adenta, and University of Ghana fire stations working to bring the blaze under control,” the post noted.
Meanwhile, netizens have taken to social media to express concern over the extent of damage to the property.
