The Deputy Director of the Ghana Tourist Development Company (GTDC), Blakofe known in real life as Oheneba Akua Manfo has resigned from her post, Kasapafmonline.com can exclusively report.
Carl Kwaku Asiedu, PRO confirmed her resignation in a chat with Kasapafmonline.com, stating that the media personality reports to work till the day her resignation takes effect.
Earlier on her Facebook page, Blakofe wrote, “Has she, has she not? Yes, people, I have officially resigned as Deputy CEO, Ghana Tourist Development Company, effective end of this month.”
She has since deleted the post from her Facebook Timeline.
Blakofe was appointed by H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo as the Deputy Chief Executive Office of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) in February and in just three months after being at post, she has tendered in her resignation to step down by the end of May, 2018.
She is a TV/Radio Presenter, a producer, an events organiser, an MC, an actress, a choreographer, and dancer.
For many years she has hosted programs such GoldBlast, Amazing Ghana and Studio 53 where she had the wonderful opportunity to share Ghanaian cuisine, music, art, tourist sites etc. with an international audience.
