Young Ghanaian blogger, radio presenter and entertainment critic, Zionfelix known in real life as Adomako Felix stood tall among his colleague writers at the recently held Ghana Tertiary Awards on Friday evening.
The final year student of the University of Ghana won the Most Influential Student Writer/ Blogger at the second edition of the event organized on October 6 at the National Theater to honour hardworking tertiary students in the country.
The winner, Zionfelix, competed in the Most Influential Student Writer/ Blogger among the following students for the enviable award; Busumuru, Ellen Catherine Ekewoum, Aboagye Nana Ferdinard, Juliana Ntiamoah, Efya English – UCC, Pep Amoah – UPSA, Matilda Clevland, Prince Teye Mensah, Kodua Alexander and Asiedu Andrew.
The renowned blogger had two nominations at the 2015 Ghana Tertiary Awards; “Most Influential Student Radio Presenter” and “Most Influential Student Blogger/Writer” of the year categories but managed to take one.
Zionfelix was earlier in the year nominated for “Showbiz Blogger/Online Writer Of The Year ” category at City People Entertainment Award held in Nigeria, YOUTH CHOICE Award For Use Of New Media” and “YOUTH CHOICE Blog Of The Year” categories at Africa Youth Choice Awards also in Nigeria and “Best Student Journalist” category at University Of Ghana SRC Excellence Awards.
The 2015 Most Influential Student Writer/ Blogger award-winner is the brain behind entertainment news portals Zionfelix.com and Celebritytvgh.com.
The blogger who also doubles as a radio presenter for the past years has worked as a publicist for many Ghanaian musicians, actors, movie and music producers, event companies, TV and Radio presenters and other personalities.
His contribution to the entertainment industry as a blogger and critic cannot be de-emphasized.
He starts a new TV show, “Bloggers Café” soon on Care TV.
Other award-winners at the 2015 Ghana Tertiary Awards were Strongman, Jason, Regina, Katanga Hall, GH Media School and many others.
The event had performances from Luther, Akos of Mentor 7 and many others.
