Bob Okala is the Boss but it is our Time-DKB

DKB, born Derrick Kobina Bonney, is one of Ghana's most relevant and hardworking contemporary comedians keeping the comedy industry active has responded to Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng popularly called Bob Okala the two-time Arts Critics Reviewers Association Ghana (ACRAG) award winning comedian, who said he has no match when it comes to standup comedy in Ghana".

In an interview with DJ Murphy Lee on Metro 90.5 FM Entertainment Extra this weekend, DKB said it is true that no one match with Bob Okala because he is the Boss in the comedy industry "I saw Bob Okala when I was in class five (5) that was 'Key Soap Concert party', so he is still the Boss but in this computer world it is our time in comedy".

"Comedy this days involve learning specially one need to be read, write and in all active in English speaking, because we are in modern world, but not for school dropout as it is said in the past, that is why you will see learned people who have passion and talented in the comedy industry " he added

According to DKB, Bob Okala contribution to Ghana's standup comedy began in an era where the industry was not lucrative.

The Two-time Arts Critics Reviewers Association Ghana (ACRAG) award winning comedian, Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng popularly called Bob Okala said; he has no match when it comes to standup comedy in Ghana.

DKB urged youth not to hide their talent in comedy all because it is said every comedian is a 'fool' but they should participate if they have talent and passion in comedy," through comedy Basket mouth now have cars, building and enjoying life".
