Boobs, butt surgeries can’t guarantee happiness – RMD

Veteran Nigerian Actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo popularly called RMD has entreated women especially celebrities to desist from butts and boobs surgeries because they cannot make one happy.

He said purchasing of Brazilian wigs, expensive clothes and shoes are not means to true happiness saying any woman who is comfortable with her looks will never pay money for surgeries.

In an Instagram post sighted by MyNewsGh.com, he said, ‘A woman who is secure in her looks has no urge to go under the knife for enhancement, think Michelle Obama. Having been there, I can tell you for free that weight loss, weight gain, butt enlargement, boob lift, marriage, buying/building your own house, having kids, wearing expensive clothes and shoes cannot make you truly happy’.

RMD underscored that things people do to show to the World that they are tough, beautiful are things that unknowingly magnify their insecurities.

‘Mostly, the things we do to show others we are beautiful, made, tough and/or connected are things that magnify our insecurities,’ he stated.

The 58-year-old veteran actor urged people to live their lives without been worried about how society views them.

‘True happiness comes from knowing who you are (self-discovery) and loving yourself, anyone who can live without caring about the validation of others is the one who has found true happiness,’ he opined.

He has won many awards including Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a leading role, Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2016.

Some of his movies include: the Wedding party, 30 Days in Atlantic, Three Wise Men, Diamond Ring, Behind Closed Doors, Scores to Settle etc.
