Africa’s biggest music streaming and downloading platform, Boomplay, sponsored the recent Listening Party of A-List act, M.anifest.
Held at Urban Grill in Airport, the event, which was to introduce the musician's latest project – The Gamble – to a select core, attracted top players from the music industry including Abraham Ohene Djan, Andy Dosty, and Kwame Faakye.
It also had in attendance some producers and musicians including Worlasi and Adina.
The Boomplay sponsorship is on the back of an exclusive 3-day release of M.anifest's recently-released 'Big Mad' single, which features Simi and is off The Gamble project.
The exclusive release afforded users the opportunity to stream The Gamble on only Boomplay for a three-day period. A competition was also held and 7 winners were chosen to meet their icon at the exclusive listening session.
Boomplay is a streaming and download service owned by Transsnet Music Limited. Boomplay says its vision is to build the largest and most reliable digital music ecosystem for artistes and content creators in Africa.
The Boomplay app has millions of users and is the fastest-growing music app across various markets including Africa.
