Musician and owner of Accra-based Breeze 90.9 FM Kojo Antwi says the station’s back on air in February.
Mr Antwi told Kafui Dey on GH One TV on Friday morning that some internal restructuring has led to the station being off air, adding once that was out of the way they should be good to go.
“We’re doing some internal restructuring. We will be back in February. 90.9 will be back.”
In a related development, Mr Antwi’s annual 24th Night Concert returns this year at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.
The concert, running for several years, is among the most anticipated end-of-year concerts in the country, and will see the legend perform several of his classics including Densu, Tom And Jerry, Dadie Anomaa, and Adiepena.
With a remarkable 22 albums to his credit, and many laurels including West Africa Tourism Award, All Africa Music Awards, Kora Award, and the Our Music Award under his belt, Kojo Antwi is a trusted authority in Ghanaian music.
Born Julius Kojo Antwi, the Afro pop, highlife and reggae icon first released a music album as far back as 1986, and his last album Mwaah!, was released in 2009.
