The name Bright Amankwah always rings a bell in the Ghana Methodist Church

circuit. He is a Songwriter, Arranger, Composer and Choirmaster. Together

with his group from Ghana United Methodist Church, Bronx, NY, they launched

another breathtaking original compostion with a different sound. The sound

with the compositions making it more fun and worth listening to. The title

of the track is; "Abode Nyina Nyi Nyame Aye"; Let All The People on earth.

praise the Lord. Explaining the brief history behind 'Abode nyina nyi

Nyamea ye'. He said; "I wrote the title song as a thanksgiving song to God

for His divine guidance and protection for the people of Ghana to attain 50

years of Indepence without any civil war although we see it happening all

around us. The song is dedicated to my mother Victoria Amankwah, and all

Ghanaians. The title track is a medley of thanksgiving songs everybody will

enjoy."

This particular CD is different from all the other 3 CDs the group have come

out with. In terms of content,-all the songs are original compositions with

some local spiritual embebed in some tracks. They also re-introduced an old

favorite hit of Bright's father (A.E.Amankwah) 'Maye Kom' but with a little

prelude of his own to add color.

reggae and sang by Elizabeth Yankah with intermittent

chorus by the Triumphant Choir.

"Lack of space won't allow me to talk about all the songs; you just get a

copy of this great album and you will see and hear for yourself what, Bright

Amankwah, Ekow Orstin, Osei Asibey and Emmanuel Mintah have put together for

your spiritual upliftment and enjoyment", Bright said.
