Singer/ rapper Bright of defunct hipline group Buk-Bak, has taken to Instagram Monday November 21 to mark three years since partner Ronnie Coaches passed.

In the emotive post, Bright (who has seemingly taken a step back from public life) admits to what a life-changing experience losing his longtime friend and creative partner has been, cautioning all to not hold back their affection towards those they love as the future is unknown.

Originally comprising Prince Bright, Isaac Shoetan and Ronny Coaches, they are among Ghana’s first rap groups, releasing their debut, KomiK?Kena in 1998 to wide acclaim. Aw?ns?m ( 2000), Nkomhy? ( 2001), Sika Korkor ( 2002) and Gold Coast (2004) before embarking on solo projects. They returned however, for Fisherman Anthem – Global One Entertainment (2012), not long after which Ronnie passed.

Bright is reportedly teaming up with ex-VIP member Promzy to make a return into the music industry.

Below is Bright’s Instagram post.

That 4am call, 3 years ago, changed my perception of life. A lot can change in a split second. Let us love like there is no tomorrow. We are here today, gone tomorrow. What we do today really matters because when we are gone we leave behind broken hearts and memories. Our good memories will mend the broken hearted and put smiles on the faces of those we leave behind. November 21st, 2013 #BUKBAK #RONNIECOCHES #ronnieliveson #mamacrynomore
