Information reaching the News Hunter Magazine indicates that the maiden edition of the Brong Ahafo Music Awards (BAMA) did not come off as planned.
We have gathered that the organizers had some challenges regarding the venue for the event.
Newshuntermag.com reached out to the organizers (J. Black Code Events)—but they were not ready to give us much information—as at the time of filing this report.
The Director of Operations for J Black Code Events, Joshua Akongo Anemi, told us that whatever happened should have been avoided.
Joshua revealed that they are in a crunch meeting and he will get back to us to give a vivid account of what occurred.
Earlier, a deep throat source told this Magazine that the organisers had issues with managers of the Eusbett International Conference Centre in Sunyani.
“The management of the venue demanded full payment of the venue. Meanwhile, they had reached an agreement...and half of the amount was paid,” a close source disclosed to the News Hunter Magazine.
The maiden edition of the Brong Ahafo Music Awards (BAMA) was scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
