Ghanaian Gospel musician Brother Sammy is not happy at allegations by the Public Relations and Welfare officer of the Film Producers’ Association Ghana, Michael Ola, for alleging that his reported accident was fake and staged.

Weeks ago, news went viral that the Gospel musician had been involved in an accident enroute Sefwi Anwiaso for an event. The said accident was confirmed by colleague Gospel musician Selina Boateng who granted several radio interviews.

In one of the interviews, she said,

“The car was on top speed. We were all moving but I realized that the car that brother Sammy used was not following us as expected. So I had my vehicle reversed and then we realized Brother Sammy’s car was in a pit.”

Hours ago, Michael Ola in a post on Facebook questioned the authenticity of the said accident and insinuated that the move by the musician was aimed at generating hype towards his upcoming event in Kumasi.

“Not long ago people of Ghana rose up to the news of the gospel musician brother Sammy, being involved in an accident. Many were those who were quick to refer to some prophecies concerning celebrities this year and other running around for update.

To some of us, we wanted to wait till the dust settled and know the truth about this accident because the pictures circulated around was a bit questionable.

It has come as no surprise that few days after his staged accident, the fake Pastor Sammy is sensing posters of his aseda album launch. What is this trickster thanking God for? For helping him deceived Ghanaians or for exposing his lies to us. There is no doubt he planned this poor drama with his manager Kofi. Very disgusting to say the least of a supposed Pastor.”

Reacting to the allegations in an interview with Austin Woode on Luv FM’s Oseikrom Top 10, Brother Sammy who seemed peeved lost his cool as he veered off cursing Ola for generating public hatred towards him.

“Why would I fake such an incident. Ola will suffer a similar accident and we will see if he will be able to make it”

He however called back to apologize after callers chastised him for cursing as a Gospel musician. He took the opportunity to correct an erroneous impression that the said fake accident is aimed at promoting an album launch.

“I’m not even launching an album. I’m only inviting people to come worship with me and thank God for saving me from such an accident that often takes the life of people”, he said.

Many after analyzing the pictures of the said accident have sided with Ola stating the accident looks fake and staged.
