It was reported that gospel musician, Brother Sammy was involved in an accident Saturday afternoon at Sefwi Asawinso in the Western Region.
The gospel musician was attending a show when the driver lost control. Inspector Adjei of Sefwi Asawinso police unit who confirmed the news said the musician was with his manager, Romeo when the unfortunate happened.
The inspector in an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello FM in Kumasi described how serious the accident was.
“The accident was very serious when I arrived at the scene. A taxi did an overtaking so Brother Sammy’s driver was trying to save the car (taxi) when he lost control and headed into a ditch.
When we arrived at the scene, the Highlander was in the ditch so we called for help. We later took them to hospital and they are responding to treatment.”
He revealed that gospel musicians Brother Sammy, Selina Boateng and Mama Lydia were attending a show but the two females were in different cars.
Inspector Adjei further asked well-wishers to pray for the gospel artiste.
