Nigerian music legend Burna Boy has denied reports of an African Giant Tour in Ghana on November 22.

He tweeted on Wednesday that the report - first published by myjoyonline.com and aggregated by GhanaWeb and other online platforms - is fake even though he loves Ghanaians.

"Seen this up in a Few places ! Nov 22nd in Ghana is Fake unfortunately. You know I love my Ghanaian people but African Giant Tour is not happening on the 22nd in Ghana ! ????," he posted on his official account.

Myjoyonline.com published on Monday that Accra was the next stop for his sold-out African Giant Tour which he kickstarted in April 2019 by making stops in Canada, U.S, Belgium, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

"Come November 22, at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Accra, the ‘Ye’ hitmaker will bring his energy to bear in the once in a lifetime concert," the fake report stated.

It added that the tour is facilitated by Universal Music’s U-Live, TBWA/MarkComm, Fantasy Dome with support from 3Music.

The African Giant Tour is named after the musician’s album, ‘African Giant’, which explores the themes of politics, corruption, love, desire, and passion.

2019 has been an amazing year for Burna Boy. He bagged the Best International Act award at the 2019 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

He has performed on Jimmy Kimmel’s show and also appeared on the Breakfast Club on Power 205, Hot 97 and the Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
