COP Kofi Boakye throws lavish birthday party for Kwame Adinkra

Director-General of the Police Research and Planning, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye last weekend threw a big birthday party for award-winning Broadcast Journalist, Kwame Adinkra at his private residence in Kumasi, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.

COP Kofi Boakye who is a close friend to the former staff of EIB Network, restricted the party to a few close friends including former Producer of Kwame Adinkra, Eunice Akoto Mansah Attakora-Manu, CEO of Taabea Herbal, Christian Akwasi Agyemang, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Actors’ Guild, Bill Asamoah, lawyer Nana Kwasi Boaitey, Peace Fm’s Ashanti Regional Correspondent Sampson K Nyamekye among others.

He disclosed that it was in appreciation of the good work of Kwame Adinkra for which reason he has consecutively celebrated his birthdays which falls on December 28 every year for him together with some actors in the Creative Arts Industry.

Kwame Adinkra also known as Apotiti mati who weeks ago was suspended by the EIB network for failing to appear on Abusua Nkommo, a morning show he hosts on Kumasi-based Abusua FM on its outdoor programme. It has now been established h is returning to Angel Broadcasting Network (eABN) his former employers and has since taken to promoting his new album titled “Kosopre”.

Detailed checks conducted by MyNewsGh.com revealed that the Apotiti Man failed to appear on the show because he had some of his salaries being in arrears for a while.

However, the remote cause of his suspension stemmed from the fact that he concluded a deal with Pure FM whilst he was serving as a staff of the EIB Media Network.
