CWESI OTENG & FRIENDS LIVE IN CONCERT THIS SUNDAY

Ghana Gospel Industry Awards (GGIA) winner for New Artist of the Year (2011) and 2011 Africa Gospel Awards nominee, Cwesi Oteng, is set to stage another grand concert this Sunday, 16th October, 4pm at the plush 5000-seater auditorium of the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM), around Atomic Junction, North Legon. The concert forms part of the last editions of his build up concerts towards the launch of one of the most anticipated gospel music albums in Africa, Cwesi’s ‘Mercy Project’ album.

The concert will according to his management also serve as the start of his preliminary campus tour this year in preparation towards a nationwide campus tour dubbed, ‘Campus Empowerment Tour’, next year which will see Cwesi and his Mercy Project team organise a music workshop, motivational seminar on social issues and youth lifestyles and then crown it with a concert on every campus visited.

The concert, come this Sunday, is expected to bring both young and old under one roof to lift up highest praise and worship in a unique way. Other ministers on the bill alongside Cwesi Oteng & his Flo Riva Inc & Fusion Crew include Calvis Hammond (Joyful Way Incorporated), Denzel and HeartBeatMusic, PL Crew, Kofi Karikari (Nii Okai’s Virtuous fame) and a surprise from University of Ghana, Wisconsin University and Institute of Professional Studies (IPS).

Cwesi Oteng is a gospel music sensation making a statement for African gospel music. He has an album, ‘Blessed Are They’, to his credit but ever since the re-structure of his music ministry and the release of his ‘But For Your Mercy’ song and video which are preludes to his Mercy Project music album to be released very soon, he is garnering recognition all over the world with his music unique ministry and added focus on charity and youth. He has visited the Lighthouse Orphanage and James Camp Prisons facility in the last four months.

On Sunday, 16th October, 4pm prompt in the CEM Auditorium, near Atomic Junction, North Legon, in the capital of Ghana, Cwesi Oteng together with his friends in ministry will present another powerful package of worship and praise that is set to awe many.
