The Cecilia Marfo ‘Tsooboi Thanksgiving and Worship Service’ which was held at the Liberty Assemblies of God church at Lapaz turned into a crusade or better still a deliverance service.
The program was acclaimed by most people as unprecedented in the annals of Ghana gospel industry as thousands of people trooped to worship with Cecilia Marfo. The auditorium was virtually filled to capacity.
The purpose of the program changed immediately the MCs of the program Stacey of TV3 Music Music fame, Kwamena Idan of Adom FM’s Live Worship fame and Kay of GTV introduced Cecilia Marfo on stage.
As she began singing, the whole auditorium was filled with the power and unction of the Holy Spirit. People stood on their feet for almost three hours without feeling tired as the Holy Spirit touched people and some had the Holy Spirit baptism.
The ‘Tsooboi Thanksgiving and Worship Service’ was highly received by every individual who attended the program.
Cecilia Marfo was forced by her fans at the program to promise them of frequent worship with her and so Cecilia Marfo declared to them, the Cecilia Marfo Tsooboi Thanksgiving and Worship Service program will be held every quarterly.
There were a lot of dignitaries who recorded their presents in the program, personalities from the political arena were present, Pastors, Apostles, Prophets, Business men, the Media and fans were also present.
The likes of Mrs. Rebecca Nana Akuffo Addo, wife of the leader and Flag bearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party Nana Akuffo Addo Dankwa was present, Hon. Ayorkor Botwe, Member of Parliament, the Chairwoman of the Convention Peoples Party and Member of Parliament Hon. Samia Nkurumah (Daughter of the first President of Republic of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah), Director of Police, Human Resource, Director of Ideal College, Lawyer Appiah Kubi and some gospel musicians who did exceptionally wonderful, Grace Ashley, Gifty Osei, Supt. Kofi Sarpong, Nana Akosa, Francis Amo, Deacon Samuel Baah and a host of others were all present to join Cecilia Marfo to thank God.
Hon. Ayorkor Botwe was called to deliver a peace message from Nana Akuffo Addo through her wife Mrs Rebecca Akuffo Addo on the evening, so was Hon. Samia Nkrumah and Director of Police Human Resource.
