Renowned Ghanaian businessman, Dr Kofi Amoah recently celebrated his 60-something birthday with celebrity friends and family at his Citizen Kofi Entertainment Centre in Osu, Accra. The 8-hour long champagne all-white party hosted 300 of Ghana’s crème de la crème from the world of business, showbiz, sports and more.
It was certainly a pleasant surprise for Dr Amoah to find notable personalities such as Ghana’s former Vice President Aliu Mahama, Alhaji Jawula, Kojo Bonsu, Kofi Kapito and others stepping out on a Sunday afternoon to be a part of a party he knew nothing about. The management of Citizen Kofi felt it was a much deserved surprise for their boss, and they spared no cost to make it a memorable event.
With performances and special appearances from Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Sarkodie, Nana Boroo, Kwabena Kwabena, Ben Brako, Paulina Oduro, Tic-Tac, Becca, KOD, Gideon Aryeequaye, and many others, there was very little more that the ‘birthday boy’ could ask for.
