The second annual benefit gala was held in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week, raising $1 million for the Foundation’s AIDS research programs. amfAR Milano was presented by Mini/BMW, along with media partner Vanity Fair and hotel partner The Westin Palace Milano.
The black-tie gala featured a live auction and performances by Cheyenne Jackson and Simona Bencini, as well as an impromptu performance by Leona Lewis. Event chairs Heidi Klum, Diane von Furstenberg, Cristina Lucchini, Christian Kremer, and Milutin Gatsby were in attendance, as were such notable fashion industry personalities as Alessandra Ambrosio, Dean and Dan Caten, Eva and Roberto Cavalli, Chanel Iman, Angela Missoni, Margherita Maccapani Missoni, Francesca Versace, and Erin Wasson.
