This generation has very gifted people and these three sisters are no exception. They are siblings who have dedicated themselves to singing gospel music and taking it to a professional level.

Just like the Clark Sisters or the Winans in America or our own legendary Daughters of Glorious Jesus here in Ghana, a trio of sisters by name Charis (Nadia, Kezia and Sonia Baye), have decided to produce music.

The siblings have been part of Press on Kids since infancy and featured on all 8 albums by the group.

They have also graced events such as the 20th anniversary and album launch of the Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Citi Fm’s Christmas Carol service, Touching God’s Heart by Pastor Denzel Agyemang-Prempeh, Tour by Vinesong of “Let Your living waters” fame amongst a host of others. The trio have also featured on 8 albums by Press on Kids. The two oldest members of the group were pioneering members of Nii Okai’s children’s choir during a Standard Chartered Christmas Concert. Among themselves, they have also shared the stage with Nii Okai, Ntokozo Mbambo, Nqubeko Mbatha, Kunle Ayo, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Denzel Agyemang-Prempeh.

“Music has become a way of life for us and we can’t imagine life without music. We listen to music by other artists, create our own music and make use of any opportunity to share our faith through music. We are blessed to have been born into a musical family,” they said.

Charis also added that they believe they have a message of hope for the youth and so fashion their repertoire to mainly reach out to this segment. Though new to the music industry as a group, the trio has had many occasions to minister at various churches and events and have had quite some exposure on radio and television over the years.

The dream of Charis has come a long way and today they stand as a full-fledged group whose sound and delivery will not disappoint music lovers across Ghana and some parts of Africa who are looking for something different, anointed and versatile.

On July 6 at 4pm at the Jubilee Hall of the Evangelistic Charismatic Church (CEM) at Agbogba, Charis would be hosting their Album Concert/Launch. The launch which is a free event is expected to feature great and gifted artistes. The general public is invited to support this blooming set of talents.

The gospel group is committed to reaching out to the youth and they believe more will be coming from their camp after their maiden launch.
