Chelsea soccer stars caused a stink at a posh nightclub after ordering a Chinese takeaway.

Didier Drogba, 31, was at Whisky Mist in London's Mayfair with team-mates MICHAEL ESSIEN, 26, and SALOMON KALOU, 23, when the trio felt peckish.

So Blues striker Didier called on staff at the club - a favourite of Princes WILLIAM and HARRY - to bring them a Chinese.

Three paper bags of nosh were delivered to the Ivory Coast player's table in the early hours of Thursday containing spring rolls, egg-fried rice, a mushroom dish and beef in oyster sauce.

But while Didier (Chelsea's No.11), midfielder Essien (No.5) and striker Kalou (No.21) munched away, other clubbers in the packed VIP area were put off by the smell.

One said: "It absolutely stank."
