It`s all about football and many hiplife musicians are now in South Africa supporting the black stars of Ghana whiles those in town are trying to put finishing touches to their albums so they can quickly release after the world Cup.

In and interview with Chemphe who is known in real life as Henry Chemphe, he did not give us any reason as to why he did not go to South Africa but rather revealed that he is putting a finish touch to his new album.

He lamented that it is very painful that no hiplife artiste had the platform to perform at the opening of the world cup but rather they are performing at various small communities. “I don’t think we don’t have the men.

We have many good hiplife musicians who can do far better than what they did at the opening ceremony of the world Cup but the issue is that some industrial players are always pushing the wrong people to the top.

People who are not talented and also people who are not doing good music end up paying big money to be promoted. The question I always put before them is when are we going to see a Ghanaian musician on top of the world whiles I demand positive answers from them” he asked.

Commenting on the just ended Ghana music awards, he said that Charter house which is the biggest event organizer in Ghana are doing their best but they are also teaching Ghanaians how to tell lies.

“I think this year is not the only year that I deserved an award which wasn’t given me. The first time was in 2008 which was the best vocal performance. It was so obvious that everybody did not understand why I didn’t win that award and now in 2010, I think Asem`s song was one of the best but compared to mine, I promoted it for a very long time.

The video is almost on all the TV stations and when you consider the category, Asem was not even having a video. This does not qualify his song so I clearly deserved it. But for some reasons, I have not regretted for not taking that award but I think Charter house is just teaching Ghanaians how to tell lies so they should just do the right thing because they are really doing well” he added. T alking about the rumour which came up in the media sometime ago about his latest affair with beautiful actress Vicky Zugah one of Ghana`s most popular film actress, he revealed that nothing is going on between them but rather they are good friends who love to go to places together.

Checmphe who has three albums like “No Pampana” ,“Why U Dey Treat Am” and the heart of a winner which is still on top of many chats run on many radio stations is coming out with his next album. Although he did not give out the title of the album, he has asked his fans to expect something new with an African movement.
