Many music fans have argued that modern day musicians, otherwise known as hiplifers are too noisy besides their poor lyrical contents. But proponents of the modern music genre (hiplife) have argued that it is their time and rhythm of the day and therefore they become enthused when it is being played.

However, research by the paper has shown that in spite of their public defense of the new music genre, majority of our youth enjoy listening to the good highlife music which the like Dr. Paa Bobo, Chief Kofi Sammy, Akwasi Ampofo Adjei, Nana Kwame Ampadu another others had produced into the system.

And so for all those there who very much enjoy the rhythms of yesteryears, look no further because Chief Kofi Sammy formerly known as Abrekyireba Kofi Sammy, the man who has over sixty (60) music albums to his credit has currently put on the market a collection of ten (10) good songs selected from his old hits.
The ten songs which were all super hits in those days are currently on cassettes and CDs, and available for sale at all music shops in the country, and for bulk purchase contact, Prophet Ventures Worldwide at Kantamanto, Accra.

The 10 track album opens on the side A with ?Awurade Kasa?. The piece calls on God to intervene in the lives of His children as poverty and suffering have engulfed them to the brim.

?Daben?, which brood over the sufferings of mankind in this sinful world follows. Even though the lyrics seem sorrowful, the rhythm is lively and danceable that listeners can?t help, but to tap their feet and shake their head till the track ends.

There are other wonderful tracks such as ?Empaaba?, ?Maria?, ?W?anwaa Me?, ?Suffer?, ?Nyame Kyire Bone?, ?Sanbra?, ?Ento Woa Da? and ?Ese Woa?.
