A big black cobra last week disrupted classes when it emerged on the roofing of Aboasu Local Primary School block in the Nkoranza District.

It took the community more than an hour to kill it, as it continuously slid through the rafters.

Mr Ahmed Gyabaah, Headteacher of the school, told the Ghana News Agency

(GNA) at Nkoranza that the children and some of the teachers ran away from the school and called for help from members of the community.

Mr Gyabaa appealed to the community to clear weeds at the outskirts of the town to prevent reptiles from entering homes.
