Hours after being discharged from hospital following a motor accident on Wednesday night, Raphael Edem Avornyo, popularly known as Coded, a member of hiplife group 4x4, has returned for further treatment.
Coded was involved in a crash in his Kia Sportage at East Legon on February 8 at about 10:30pm on his way back from shopping at the A&C Mall. The artiste was broadsided by a Toyota Camry as he made his way home and was immediately rushed to the Yeboah Hospital at East Legon, where he was treated and discharged the same night.
However, speaking to Accra News, the leader of the hiplife group, Captain Planet, said Coded was back in hospital Thursday morning following complaints of general bodily pains upon waking up and was expected to undergo, among other things, an MRI scan.
“He was rushed to the hospital yesterday and released the same night but we brought him back to hospital this morning so an MRI [scan] can be performed to determine if he has internal bleeding. Thank God, he walks and speaks fine but says he feels pain in his back and neck, which the doctors will attend to,” Captain Planet disclosed.
