Lydia Forson is joining the highly-rated South African production Scandal.
In a story attributed to some sources, local tabloid NewsOne, in its Monday edition reported: “The award winning Ghanaian actress, according to unconfirmed reports had already touched down in South Africa to join the other cast members for the series”.
However, a couple of posts on Forson’s twitter handle on Sunday gave credence to NewsOne‘s projections. She left Ghana on Sunday for South Africa (Check tweets below), in preparedness for what should be an exciting career step.
A popular production that is shown on both South African and Ghanaian television, Scandal! is produced by Ochre Media.
It is about the people who work for the fictitious Johannesburg-based newspaper The Voice, with their pressurized deadlines, the chaos of breaking news, the fight for increased circulation and ad spend to their (no longer) private lives and personal angst.
It premiered in 2005.
