Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, Asenke, has opined that, the message a song carries is the last contributing factor that can guarantee the success of that song.

The musician in an exclusive interview with Flex Newspaper outlined some major elements a song should possess in order to make it go viral on every music promotion platform.

”For a song to be a hit, it must first have a groovy beat, a catchy hook, and a good chorus before the storyline. The content of the song is actually the last guarantor for a hit song. People would love to jam to a song before paying attention to the message it carries.”, the Cease Fire artiste intimated.

This, he said, is the main reason why he usually lays much emphasis on the beats, hooks and chorus of his songs.

Asenke is currently promoting his new street banger titled Wedding. Produced by Appietus, Wedding is a very danceable song which featured the Susuka hit maker, Kofi Kinaata.

”My Wedding song was inspired by how women pressurize their men to marry them, only to ask for a divorce after a short while. Ladies of today want extravagant marriage ceremonies regardless of the financial strength of their fiancés. I’m pleading with women to have patience with their men. The song is in favor of the guys, but surprisingly, the ladies are really loving it as well.”, Asenke disclosed.

Asenke has been in Ghana’s music industry for quite a while and can boast of sensational songs like Money ft. Afriyie, Move It ft. Luther and Don Itchy, Famame ft. Wutah, Fear Delegates, Birthday Special, amongst others.
