Contestants gear-up for Miss Cameroon 2014 Edition

Beauty queens in Cameroon are seriously gearing up for the 10th edition of the Miss Cameroon contest which is due to take place on July 25 at the Congress Hall Palace in Yaoundé.

The occasion will also see the 2013 Miss Cameroon, Valerie Ayena, hand over her crown to another ambassador of beauty.

The event caps the organization Miss Cameroon Committee (Comica) which has been going round the country for the regional selections.

Next Sunday will be the finals of Grand Centre, to detect the most beautiful girls in the Centre, South and East regions.

The President of Comica, Ingrid Solange Amougou is once again challenged: organize an expensive event with few sponsors and limited finances.

The Miss Cameroon competition for this 2014 edition nonetheless wants to stand and offer the Cameroonian youth (women in particular), a space for expression.
