Controversy mars Miss Universe Ghana, 2015

The integrity of the Miss Universe Ghana pageant which this year saw the crowning of a new queen, 25-yr old Hilda Akua Frimpong, at the Alisa Hotel in Accra is being questioned.

Hilda Akua Frimpong, a Ghanaian model and beauty pageant titleholder did not win the crown by merit, other contestants have alleged.

According to one of the contestants, Yaa Gyamfi, a pediatric nurse who said she sacrificed a lot financially to join the contest, alleged Hilda paid her way to the top.

Meanwhile, one of the members of the Miss Universe Ghana board, PY Addo Boateng told BolaNita on the Starr Drive on Monday, the email addresses in the evidence provided did not belong to the alleged conspirators.
