Counsellor Lutterodt’s advice to ladies that they should never allow a poor man marry them has sparked a controversial debate.

Speaking on the most talked about mid-morning show, Aben Wo Ha on Kasapa FM with host, Gattuso, the marriage counselor’s view on why ladies shouldn’t allow men with poor finances to marry them was shot down by both co-contender/host of Kasapa Kanea, Evangelist Kingsley Agyenim-Boateng and callers of the show.

In his recent interview as a resource person on Kasapa FM’s Efisem hosted by Yaa Serwaa Akoto, he stated that a man who can’t afford to buy a food he desires to eat is not worth getting into marriage.

According to the majority who dismissed counselor’s arguments, marriage should not be based on materials things or wealth but should be established on a humble beginning by both (Husband and Wife) and on a secured love.

Moreover, marrying a man who is not resourceful but hardworking should be the yardstick for every lady since most well-to-do men can’t guarantee happiness in marriage.
