Court remands Engineer for threat of death.

Tema, Oct. 25, GNA- A 50-year-old engineer was on Friday ordered by a circuit court at Tema to go for a medical examination at Pantang psychiatrist hospital.

The court remanded Deroy Ebo Nunoo into police custody, for the order to be carried out.

Nunoo pleaded not guilty to threat of death to his neighbours and he is to re-appear on November 20.

Police Chief Inspector Margaret Nunoo told the court that the complainants including a consultant and a pensioner lived with the accused at Manet Cottage at Baatsona near Tema.

She said for sometime now, the accused has been throwing bottles into the houses of the complainants and also threatening to kill them. The prosecution said sometime in October, accused threatened to kill two of the complainants with a cutlass and he was reported to the police.
