Ace Ghanaian lawyer has called on the government to set up a free SHS fund for stakeholders and philanthropies to make a donation to support the Free SHS policy.
According to Maurice Ampaw, the establishment of the Free SHS fund will allow Ghanaians to voluntarily support the free SHS policy to ensure its sustainability.
Speaking in an interview he said, “Let’s set up a Free SHS fund where philanthropist and the bourgeoisie can voluntarily put money in the fund to support the Free SHS policy”.
He made a committed of GHC1000 monthly to support the Free SHS fund.
Maurice Ampaw added that the Free SHS is sustainable since the government has made it a priority.
“Government will make a commitment for Free SHS before looking at other sectors,” he said.
