Creative Arts Agency mourns Beverly Afaglo

The Creative Arts Agency has issued an official statement mourning the passing of Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo Baah, describing her death as a huge loss to the country’s creative industry.

In a press release dated May 24, 2026, and signed by Acting Executive Secretary Gideon Aryeequaye, the agency said it received the news of the actress’ death “with profound sorrow.”

The statement praised Beverly Afaglo for her immense contribution to Ghana’s film and entertainment industry, noting that her impact and dedication to the arts would be remembered for years to come.

“Beverly Afaglo Baah was a remarkable talent whose contribution to Ghana’s creative industry, particularly the film and entertainment agency sector, will forever be remembered,” portions of the statement read.

According to the agency, the late actress inspired many young creatives through her professionalism, passion, and commitment to the entertainment industry, while also bringing pride to Ghana’s creative arts fraternity.

The agency further extended condolences to her husband, musician Choirmaster, known privately as Eugene Kwadwo Boadu Baah, their children, family, friends, and colleagues.

“Her passing is a great loss not only to her family but also to the entire nation and the creative arts industry she served diligently,” the statement added.

The agency concluded by praying for strength and comfort for her loved ones and eternal rest for the late actress.

Beverly Afaglo’s death has triggered an outpouring of grief across social media, with several celebrities, colleagues, and fans sharing emotional tributes in her honour.
