Actress Fella Makafui has received a cheque of Gh500,000 as well as a Chevrolet Camaro car from Crystal Galaxy College after she signed an ambassadorial deal with the institution.
Earlier when news of the deal broke, there were controversies surrounding the amount involved as some doubted she couldn’t have inked such a deal.
Others also raised concerns about what exactly will be the role of the actress in that regard.
But addressing the media at a presentation ceremony in Accra, Friday, Dr Isaac Akomah, Director of Crystal Galaxy College & CEO of Crystal Group of Companies mentioned that the institution believes in Fella Makafui’s brand and was of the greatest conviction she will sell the school better.
“As the youth of today, if we want Africa to change, it is the youth who will transform Africa. The youth is our target. We want to change Africa. Our focus is on ensuring that the youth move on with great talent and expertise. Training students in a different environment, acting, any field, media world…Looking at all this there is no other person that can befit the standard that we want to go, but Fella Makafui,” he said.
“As a Brand Ambassador I will use my excellent networking skills, and strong presence on social media & Africa as a whole to help our partnership...” she says. “As brand ambassador, I know my role is strongly desired, as well as my knowledge of sales and marketing principles will be used to achieved all the listed KPIs.... thanks to everyone that supports my brand.”
