DIANA HAMILTON IS BACK FOR PEACE

Ghana’s gospel sensation and international award Nominee, Diana Antwi Hamilton, is in the country to promote peace ahead of the 2012 general elections.

The powerful vocalist and songwriter made this know in Accra during a familiarization meeting with members of the press.

Speaking about her initiated to promote peace, the ‘Osoro be kasa’ and ‘Ensi Wo Yie’ UK based songstress explained that, the tour dubbed; “Diana Hamilton Peace Endorsement Tour For 2012 Elections,” is to contribute her quota to ensure that Ghana, continued to enjoy peaceful atmosphere before, during and after the 2012 general elections.

The tour which is slated to begin in Accra will be replicated in all the regions of Ghana, targeting high profile politicians and religious leaders, opinion leaders in the Ghanaian society, political institutions, educational institutions, corporate organizations, and civil societies among others.

In 2010, Diana Antwi Hamilton received nomination for Gospel song of the year, at the Ghana Music Awards, Best Musician at the Ghana UK Based Achievement Awards 2010 and was nominated for Best Female artiste, at the Africa Gospel Awards in 2011.

Diana is a well known figure in the UK as regular host on OHTV’s (SKY 199) "Africa Rising" program and has performed on several Christian Networks and won the respect of music lovers from across the globe with her attempt to bring music to people in the language they will understand.

Her latest project, ‘BLESSINGS’, makes the AGMA award winning artistes an industry mogul and a favorite on the African content.
